History
Montesa is the Spanish subsidiary of Honda, which manufactures the Cota 315R at its plant in Barcelona. The Montesa Cota 315R has been in production for seven years (’97 - ’04) and Dougie Lampkin has led to numerous world championships. The 315 was replaced by four-stroke Cota 4RT in 2005.

Performance
Even in 2011, Montesa Cota 315R is a very modern and solid Trial. The rigidity of the bike is exceptional and the parts are of superior quality (Honda) compared to other trials bikes. The quality of the parts ensures that the weight of the bike is slightly higher. You will find this site hints and tips to improve the bike and a few small problems to solve common problems such as sticking of the clutch, the type of gasoline to use, the problem of self-ignition and more.
